Meet Glenda
Glenda G. Momrelle-Clarke is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic Priviledge (LMHC-D), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is the founder and owner of Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling, PC, a multi-clinician group practice, SYD (Supporting Your Disabilities) and The Wellness Hub, where she provides coaching, consulting, and leadership development.
With over two decades of experience across clinical practice, organizational leadership, and education, Glenda brings a unique and integrative approach to her work, bridging mental health, leadership, and faith-based communities.
Professional Background
Glenda’s professional journey began in Human Resources, where she advanced from an administrative role to Human Resources Manager, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. This early foundation shaped her ability to build systems, lead teams, and support organizational growth.
She later transitioned into the mental health field, where she has worked extensively with individuals, families, and communities navigating trauma, domestic violence, substance use, and complex mental health needs. Her clinical work is rooted in evidence-based practices, cultural responsiveness, and a whole-person approach to healing.
As the owner of Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling, Glenda has built a fully operational clinical organization, developing treatment programs, supervising clinicians, establishing policies, and creating a structure that supports both clinical excellence and community impact.
Personal Mission & Approach
Glenda’s work is grounded in the belief that healing and growth require attention to the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. She is deeply committed to helping individuals not only address emotional and psychological challenges, but also develop the clarity, resilience, and capacity needed to live and lead well.
Her approach is both practical and transformative:
-
Helping individuals understand their internal experiences
-
Equipping leaders with tools for sustainable growth
-
Creating spaces where faith and mental health can be integrated responsibly
Through her work, she consistently bridges the gap between clinical understanding and real-life application, ensuring that the people she serves are not only supported, but equipped.
Teaching, Training & Leadership Development
In addition to her clinical and business work, Glenda serves as an Adjunct Instructor, where she teaches courses focused on the intersection of mental health and the church. Her teaching equips clergy and leaders to better understand their role, recognize limitations in scope of practice, and identify when referral to mental health professionals is necessary.
She has also developed and facilitated numerous programs, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) programs, psychoeducational groups, and leadership training initiatives. Her work in program development reflects a consistent ability to identify needs, create structure, and implement sustainable solutions that serve both individuals and organizations.
The Connection: Soul Discovery & The Wellness Hub
Glenda’s work is intentionally structured to provide support at different levels:
-
Soul Discovery Mental Health Counseling offers clinical therapy services for individuals seeking professional mental health treatment, including insurance-based care.
-
The Wellness Hub, housed under Glenda Momrelle, LLC, is designed specifically for pastors, leaders, and individuals who are looking for growth, support, and development outside of a clinical setting.
The Wellness Hub was created in response to a clear need, leaders who are constantly supporting others often lack spaces where they themselves can process, grow, and receive support. This platform provides resources, education, and guidance that address emotional health, leadership demands, and the integration of faith and wellness.
A Commitment to Service
Glenda does not view her work as separate roles, but as a unified calling. Whether she is providing therapy, coaching a leader, teaching a class, or developing programs, her focus remains the same:
To build people, strengthen systems, and create spaces where individuals and leaders can function in wholeness and lead with clarity.
